About the project

MetarTaf Decoder translates raw METAR and TAF aviation weather reports into clear, full sentences - without guessing abbreviations. The database covers 14559 airports worldwide, with live data from the official Aviation Weather Center (NOAA) source.

Two ways to use it

• This website (decoder-metartaf.pl) - free access funded by Google AdSense ads, no sign-up required.
• Mobile/web app - paid, ad-free, with offline mode, favourite airports, GPS-based search, and full customization of units and decode language.

Where does the data come from?

The default source is the public, free Aviation Weather Center Data API. The data is provided for informational purposes only and does not replace an official pre-flight briefing.
